Work Health & Safety
Adecco is dedicated to providing the highest level of excellence in the recruitment and placement of permanent, contract and temporary staff, and this includes work health & safety.
We promote a culture of continuous improvement and best practice in WHS, and are committed to ensuring the ongoing promotion and improvement of safe workplace practices. Our safety culture is driven from the top down by our senior management team and is supported by our WHS and Injury Management team, whose whole focus is making sure our people are safe at every site.
Our WHS Management System (WHSMS) is accredited to AS4801 and all our consultants are trained in effective hazard identification, assessment and risk management. All Adecco Group employees are involved in the implementation of our WHSMS, which is why we have successfully reduced our injury rates every year for the last three years, with our LTIFR at a consistently low, industry leading rate.
Consultation and communication with our clients and candidates plays a large part in the success of our WHS systems – we conduct regular safety observations and toolbox talks on client sites and, more importantly, we understand the need for accurate hazard reporting in preventing incidents and injuries. To address this, Adecco has implemented an online portal called “Safe To Say” where our employees can report hazards, near misses or safety concerns 24/7, anonymously if they wish.
