Reporting to the Manager Inventory and Logistics you will have 1 or 2 direct reports and will be responsible for ensuring the safe, timely and efficient receipt, storage and delivery of all inbound and outbound goods in accordance with company policies and Legislative requirements.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following;

  • Maintenance of information completeness and accuracy within all data and documentation systems and in accordance with company policy.
  • Monitor the performance of staff/contractors and ensure they comply with Company Policies
  • Ensure the issue of goods in a timely manner to authorized persons and the completion of documentation and records involved
  • Ensure the maintenance and management of equipment systems within the warehouse work footprint
  • Liaise with Manufacturing Staff, provide advice on Packing and Freight requirements.
  • Ensure the traceability of all inbound and outbound goods
  • Monitor the performance of couriers/carriers and suppliers, ensuring quality, timeliness and pricing meet Company requirements
  • Communicate any delays or variances in Inbound and Outbound Freight to appropriate departments.
  • Apply quality, safety and environmental principles in your day to day work activities in accordance with the Company Policy
  • Possibility for some Interstate Travel to Perth as required


The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes;

  • Extensive experience in a similar position - at least 5 years
  • Forklift licence
  • Must be of a mature nature and self-driven
  • Interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written - including negotiation.
  • Lateral thinking, problem solving and advanced analytical thinking skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and resolve conflicts.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer, E-Enterprise
  • Understanding of Quality Assurance Principles
  • Understanding of Workplace Health and safety principles
