You will be responsible for providing support to the Service Engineers and also customer service and administrative support to managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to the day to day operation of the business.

The company specialises in meat cutting and boning machinery, band saws, slaughter equipment, carcass opening and splitting saws, hock cutters, and skinning machines. It also supplies auxiliary equipment and consumables to the food processing industries.

Description

The main responsibilities of the role include

Customer Service Tasks

  • Taking customer orders & enquiries over the phone
  • Processing customer orders via B2B , email & fax
  • Fielding end user enquiries
  • Invoicing & credit claims
  • Handling of customer complaints

Sales Team Support Tasks

  • Samples Distribution
  • Organising Transfer of stock
  • Taking order from sales representatives and ensuring special requests are met

Office Administration Tasks

  • Tracking of dispatched orders
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Credit card and cash sale reconciliations
  • Liaising with warehousing staff regarding stock checks & deliveries

Profile

To succeed in this role you will need to have the following

  • Min 3 years customer service experience
  • Excellent phone manners / communication skills
  • Min 3 years experience in Internal sale
  • Background in customer service preferably in import / distribution or manufacturing environment
  • Experience with AS 400 will be highly regarded
  • Demonstrated experience in working with information systems including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work well in small team environment
  • Ability to liaise with each division of the organisation
  • Willingness to learn
  • Great sense of humour
  • Excellent organisation skills and ability to work autonomously
  • Attention to detail
  • Current Drivers Licence
