This large government organisation is consistently recognised as an industry leader. Due to a major project this organisation is looking for a Financial Analyst with strong accounting knowledge and business acumen to joing their team urgently!


Reporting into a Finance Manager, your role as Financial Analyst will be to manage large cost bases across each department and acting as a Business Partner. Your primary responsibilities will be to:

  • Provide monthly revenue and expense reporting including all planning and re-forecasting
  • Provide financial support and advice to each Business Unit Manager
  • Monthly analysis of cost centre information - making commercial recommendations to ensure cost savings where possible
  • Assist with the co-ordination of the annual budgeting process
  • Any other ad hoc reports or projects as required


To be considered for this opportunity my client is looking for someone that possesses not only the technical ability, but someone who has impressive communication and negotiation skills enabling you to maximize your effectiveness in this position.

  • Completed CA/CPA or equivalent
  • 5+ years' work experience
  • Strong SAP experience
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing commentary and analysis
  • Stakeholder engagement - demonstrated ability in communicating at all levels in the business, building relationships and effectively managing and meeting tight deadlines
  • Experience in a large, complex environment or another government organisation
  • Good problem solving skills
