Reporting to:

The Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:-

  • Providing accurate and timely reporting to the business in Australia and New Zealand
  • Coordinating accounting data with other departments, locations & divisions as required
  • Completion of month end close process through processing of journals, accruals, review of accounts.
  • Performance of balance sheet reconciliations including bank accounts
  • Revenue and sales reporting
  • Other ad hoc duties and reporting as required
  • Liaising with non-financial parts of the business


To be successful in this role you will possess:-

  • Strong Excel skills
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • CPA/CA qualified
  • Qualified accountant experience
  • Experience using Peoplesoft is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills with ability to ask questions when needed
  • Ability to communicate financial ideas to non-financial colleagues

This role is best suited to a qualified Accountant (CA/CPA) who can critically analyse information at hand and utilise this to execute decisions and confidently provide accurate advice to the Lee Hecht Harrison business. We are ideally seeking an applicant who has strong practical knowledge and proven achievement of objectives in a similar environment.
