How we work at Adecco
This section is designed to give you as much information as possible about working with Adecco and will hopefully answer any queries you may have about our services.
We understand that deciding to change jobs can be a daunting experience and have developed our service to help make the transition as smoothly and stress-free as possible. Our service is completely free to jobseekers and confidentiality is guaranteed.
Getting to know you
Adecco places over 10,000 people on temporary assignments everyday, as well as over 5000 permanent placements each year.
Our success in placing so many people in these positions stems from our ability to find out as much about our candidates as possible and understand what it is you are really looking for. During your initial consultation when you register, we will encourage you to tell us about your personal goals and aspirations, the type of positions you would be interested in and the style of company you are looking to join. You can be confident that we will not forward a copy of your CV to any of our clients without first seeking your approval.
If we have any suitable assignments, we will tell you about them at your initial consultation. Otherwise, we will actively search to find you work as soon as possible.
Preparing for your assignment
Before each assignment, we will brief you on what the role entails and also tell you about the company and environment before you start the assignment. We make a point of regularly visiting our clients to understand their culture, dress codes and work practices so you are fully prepared from day one.
We will also provide you with details of the relevant pay rates or salary for the assignment/ position and the conditions of employment as well as outlining the payroll process to you in order to ensure that your pay is processed in a timely and appropriate manner.
Adecco handle thousands of genuine vacancies each week - many of which are never advertised in newspapers or on the internet, so only those registered with us will have the opportunity of knowing which jobs are available at which company and most importantly, when.
Keeping in touch
We keep in regular contact with our Associates to ensure that you are happy with your assignment and keep ourselves informed of your future availability so we can plan your work schedule accordingly. In the event that we haven't been able to arrange an assignment for you, we will ask you to keep in regular contact with us, as assignments often become available without warning and our Consultants cannot always predict when a client will call us with a request for cover.
