has partnered with the Victorian Government to offer your business Skills for Growth: The
Workforce Development Program.
How will Skills for Growth improve your business?
This customised program prepares your business to achieve increased productivity and
sustained growth through workforce training. Your business will be better equipped to tackle
new challenges and compete in an evolving market.
How does the program work?
Step One: Assessment & Planning (cost free & obligation free)
Assessing your needs
Allow an Adecco Program Specialist to assess your organisation’s requirements through an
onsite business review and a workforce skills audit and analysis.
- Onsite business review
Your specialist will consider your strategic objectives; and identify barriers to
performance and opportunities for improvement. They will also offer workforce
planning advice and forecast future skill needs.
- Workforce skills audit & analysis
Your specialist will audit your current skills artillery, and determine training needs for
the entire business.
Designing a Training & Development Plan
Your Adecco Program specialist will then design a complete development and training plan
for your workforce based on these findings. This plan will include appropriate vocational
training choices.
Once the Department of Innovation, Industry & Regional Development (DIIRD) approves the
plan and funding, you can decide if you would like to implement Adecco’s recommendations
in your business by proceeding to step two.
Step Two: Training & Support
Training Implementation
Based on our recommendations for your business Adecco will facilitate introductions to
appropriate partners to implement your training and development plan. This will include
linkages to Registered Training Organisations (RTO), Apprenticeship Centres and other
parties that can offer you the best training and services.
Post Training Support
Once training is complete, Adecco will provide you with a Skills for Growth Report, giving
you post training support and recommendations.
Approximately six months later we can conduct an on-site follow-up with your business.
How much will the program cost?
All services provided by your Adecco Program Specialist are fully subsidised by the
Victorian Government; this includes all services in step one and the Adecco support
services outlined in step two.
Employee training may also be eligible for the Victorian Training Guarantee and Federal
Funding Initiatives. As part of step one, we will provide you with advice on the funding
options that best suit your business.
Is my business eligible?
Skills for Growth is available to Victorian based SMEs in any industry. To be eligible your
business must:
• Employ between 1 – 200 staff
• Have been in operation for at least 12 months
• Be financially viable
