We are committed to ensuring the health, safety and welfare of our employees and any other people who may be affected by Adecco’s operations. Adecco will pursue best practice OH&S and fulfil our statutory duties at all times, working with clients, candidates and colleagues to ensure a safer working environment for all.

Prior to commencing work with new clients and as part of our OH&S compliance, Adecco requests that we conduct an OH&S inspection on each site. We undertake a full Hazard and Inspection Procedure, producing a detailed report with recommendations for any site safety improvements.

Adecco safety  priorities

Adecco will ensure that:

  • An effective OHS program is introduced and maintained to ensure all workplace hazards are identified, associated risks assessed and, in consultation with our customers, appropriate measures introduced to control these risks
  • The OHS program is monitored and reviewed to reflect changing circumstances at sites
  • Appropriate records are kept in relation to the risk management program
  •  Employees are consulted on OHS issues relevant to them
  • Our clients observe industry best practice standards regarding the safety of their operations
  • All necessary registration, certification and licensing requirements are complied with
  • Employees are appropriately trained, supervised and provided with adequate information to undertake their duties safely
  • Personal protective equipment is provided and employees are adequately instructed in its proper use, maintenance and storage
  • All accidents, incidents and near misses are reported to the immediate customer supervisor and Adecco consultant, the circumstances investigated and recorded and appropriate measures taken to prevent any recurrence

Adecco’s risk management team

Adecco’s Risk Management Team ensures that our OH&S procedures, policies and practices adhere to OH&S legislative requirements and that our Workers Compensation insurance is in place, as required by law.  Our safety systems are ISO 9001:2008 accredited and audited internally and externally.
