Adecco Group appoints new HR Director: Victoria Bethlehem
15 July 2010
Respected HR executive, Victoria Bethlehem, joins one of Australia’s leading recruiters as the Adecco Group’s Director of Human Resources, for Australia and New Zealand.
The Adecco Group delivers recruitment and career services to organisation and individuals across the employment lifecycle.
Joining the Group’s Executive Team as Director of Human Resources, Bethlehem will now report directly to Jeff Doyle, Chief Executive Officer for Australia and New Zealand.
“I am excited to welcome such an accomplished and result orientated professional on board and I have no doubt Victoria will be a great asset to our leadership team,” Doyle said.
Bethlehem brings fifteen years experience in recruitment to the Group and has spent the last five years as the Director of People and Development for one of Adecco’s major competitors across Asia Pacific. Bethlehem’s history includes business and operational management, specialising in individual and organisational performance development and change management. She has project managed company integrations and large scale change initiatives.
Doyle praised Bethlehem’s proven ability to motivate and lead teams in line with the strategic vision and corporate goals.
"Victoria’s history shows evidence of highly developed leadership skills coupled with strong business acumen," Doyle said.
Bethlehem’s recent achievements include centralising a largely disparate HR and learning function, for over 20 business units. Doyle said Bethlehem’s ability to consolidate HR services for multiple business units and improve delivery was greatly attractive to the Adecco Group, who offers several Specialty Divisions in the Office and Industrial space, and Professional Staffing brands covering Information Technology, Telecommunications; Finance, Facilities Management and Construction.
“As a Group we deliver service excellence to our clients, candidates and colleagues,” Doyle said. “Internally, we employ some of the best talent in the industry and Victoria expresses a passion to assist us to develop and retain these colleagues.”
The Adecco Group employs approximately 500 colleagues across Australia, with a branch network that reaches both metropolitan and regional communities.
